Local artists, Simson and Cashinova, will be opening up for Schoolboy Q and AB-Soul, Thursday, June 14th. Coming off a stellar performance last month at the Bei Maejor show, fans are excited to see the chemistry between these two live once again. They will be performing songs off their anticipated mixtape, ‘Mel-Lin-Kush’. Interviewing these wizards early this week, both have been grinding long nights in the newly, state-of-the-art, 11:ELEVEN and MNStandup studio; practicing and sharpening their skills for the stage. Though both have great stage presence, Simson stated, “This is what we LOVE to do and it shows naturally on stage. Our bangers and the chemistry we possess, are because of the long hours in the studio. That is where the magic happens. That is where the bond grows. We aren’t known as wizards for no reason”, Simson smirked as Cashinova nods his head, smiles and continues to write. They have created a lot of buzz after the release of their viral video, “10 Toes The Mel-Lin-Kush Remix”. Already at over 17k views in just a few weeks, they are looking to create a lot of noise in the Twin Cities and as their manager, Ernest Jackson, have said, “I can’t wait for the world to hear what we got!!!”
